In the summer of 2000 Ken Gumbert was in Prague, beginning a documentary on the Communist take over of Czechoslovakia in 1948. The result of that summer’s work was the film, Saving Grace. In 2005, Ken’s film was awarded the Gabriel Award for the best documentary shown on national television. A separate Czech version of the film was subsequently released with Czech subtitles.
